Corruption investigations handled by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption will lead to people holding top positions pre December 2006.

Speaking to Village News, FICAC Chief Investigator Inspector Isireli Tagicaki likens corruption cases to building a house, adding that you have to start from the bottom.

This comes after questions rose on whether they have gathered evidence against Ousted Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase and his cabinet ministers.

Tagicaki adds that corruption cases do take awhile to complete.
