Namosi Joint Venture, which currently holds the prospecting license for the proposed Namosi Copper Mine, has been asked by government to implement some corrective measures at the site before further decisions are made on the exploration work.

Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office Colonel Pio Tikoduadua said the Prime Minister met with Namosi Joint Venture (NJV) and the landowners yesterday, and it has been agreed that NJV has to carry out the necessary rehabilitation work emanating from the prospecting.
