Coral Coast 7s to have a new champion
This is after defending champions Red Rock had a 17-17 draw with Wardens and lost their first match to Yalovata by 14-7.
This means that from Pool 1, there is a tussle for first place between Wardens and Yalovata.
From Pool 2, Police with the services of Etonia Naba, Apenisa Dralia and Mesulame Soga lead their pool after beating Hideaway by 17-7.
In Pool 3, Army have confirmed their place in the quarterfinals after they thrashed Natabua in their last match by 38-5.
Pool 4 is still not confirmed as Nasolo Young Boys have just beaten Navy by 14-7.
In Pool 5, Navosa, under the guidance of Aisea Tuilevu and David Campese and with the likes of Napolioni Nalaga have confirmed their place after they beat Naviti 15-0 and also beat Ratu Filise by 14-0.
Competition is also tough between the Sailosi Naiteqe Senior coached Samurai Barracudas who is in tough competition with FNU coached by former 7s manager, Epeli Lagiloa.
The final list of quarter finalists will be confirmed later this afternoon.
