With 100 days to go the Bayley’s Fiji Coral Coast Sevens organisers today hosted more than 40 sponsors at the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji.
IRB Women’s Sevens commentator Melodie Robinson who was the guest speaker said she saw the Bayley’s Fiji Coral Coast Sevens, featuring the Crest Na Iri Women’s Trophy, as the start of something big.
Robinson also won the Hong Kong Sevens playing for New Zealand says rugby is her passion and it is a real honour to be here in Fiji.
Robinson added with women playing at the Olympics she have seen a major growth over the last year.
Representatives of the defending champions Red Rock were also present today.
The Bayley’s Fiji Coral Coast Sevens will be held on the 14th to the 16th of November at Lawaqa Park.
