The Interim Attorney General has assured that the interim government is moving quickly to strengthen copyright laws in the country as many CD and DVD outlets continue to run out of business due to piracy.

Aiyaz Sayed-Khiayum said they are working with the Copyright Tribunal and will provide training for police officer's to indentify pirated DVDs and CDs.

Sayed-Khaiyum said currently, police have to prove that a product is pirated before they can seize it which is one aspect of the Copyright laws they are looking at changing.
