Fiji’s Javelin thrower Leslie Copeland is out of the Olympics after failing to meet the 83 meters qualifying distance.

Copeland’s best throw was 76.04 meters.

Meanwhile, the world’s fastest man Usain Bolt has won his men’s 200 meters semifinal with a time of 19.78 seconds.

The 200 meters men’s final will be held at 1.30pm tomorrow.

Bolt won the 100m gold medal on Monday.

In football, the Brazil men’s football team will play Germany in the gold medal match on Sunday at 8.30am while in the women’s football, Sweden will play Germany at 8.30am Saturday.

In basketball, the USA mens team will play Spain in the semifinal at 6.30am Saturday while Australia will play Serbia in the other semifinal at 10am Saturday and final is 6.45am on Monday.

Looking at the medal tally, USA is in first place with 30 gold, 32 silver and 31 bronze, Great Britain is in second place with 19 gold, 19 silver and 12 bronze while China is in third place 19 gold, 15 silver and 20 bronze.

The closing ceremony is at 11am on Monday.
