Leslie Copeland has been confirmed as the wild card entry for the Rio Olympics.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Fiji Athletics Team Manager to Rio Joe Rodan Jnr says Copeland was chosen because he has been the most consistent athlete.
Rodan says the female wild card entry confirmation will be made tomorrow.
He adds that if they do not get any confirmation regarding the female wild card entry, Fiji’s female sprinter Sisilia Seavula will be chosen as she has been the most consistent in the female division.
