Wallaby Quade Cooper says he regrets resorting to foul language on social media after he was the subject of a barrage of criticism in the wake of his performance in Australia's 34‑9 victory over the Pumas in Argentina.
And he has doused any suggestion of fresh disharmony within the ranks after speculation that his tweet in the early hours of Sunday morning was aimed at those within the Wallaby camp.
He later went back on Twitter and apologised before speaking to reporters, saying he regretted the outburst but snapped out of frustration after being the target of online attacks despite the Wallabies winning by a comfortable margin.
