Reds playmaker Quade Cooper has insisted there is no chance he will be distracted by the Dan Carter head-to-head in this Saturday night’s sudden-death Super rugby playoff in Christchurch.

Cooper said the Crusaders have a lot of All Blacks but he is not looking at this as a rehearsal for anything.

He said this is solely about the Reds, going to Christchurch to beat them and their whole campaign is built around winning the Super Rugby final.

He told the ABC that the Crusaders are an excellent team but they are not frightened of playing their natural game against them.

No Queensland side has won in Christchurch since 1999.

The Crusaders will host the Reds at 7.35pm this Saturday while the Brumbies will play the Cheetahs this Sunday at 6.10pm.
