The sale of individual rolls is the cheapest and easiest way that our children are able to access cigarettes and that has to be controlled.

Ministry of Health's Tobacco Control Unit Officer Iferemi Corerega said the unit is aiming at controlling the sale of cigarettes as more children under the age of 18 are still able to buy cigarettes despite the law which clearly states that children under 18 are not allowed to be sold cigarettes.

Corerega said their unit is trying it's best to control the sale of cigarette rolls in shops.
