The continuous dry weather in most parts of the country is hindering works of the PWD officials who are facing difficulties in pumping water into reservoirs from rivers and creeks.
Divisional Water Engineer Eastern, Samuela Tubui said water levels in most reservoirs are running low which could cause more water cuts.
Tubui added that PWD officials are filling up the Tamavua reservoir before water supply is restored in the greater Suva area later tonight, as many residents continue to face water cuts due to low water levels at the reservoir.
He has apologized to residents living along Princess road, Tacirua, Delainavesi, Samabula and Veisari who were not carted water yesterday, as they have no water supply since last night.
He added that in the meantime ten water trucks will be carting water to the affected areas.
