The interim Prime Minister had made it clear that the continuous rejection of the People's Charter process by some political parties and churches will result in no elections.

Before leaving for New York to address the UN General Assembly, Commodore Frank Bainimarama said in an interview with Fijivillage that the Charter process will go ahead with or without the SDL, the NFP and the Methodist Church executives.

He said the only issue is that there may be no elections for some time.
