Consumers are being urged to be careful when doing their last minute shopping as shop owners may try to take advantage of the situation.
Consumer Council CEO Premila Kumar said that consumers need to be very cautious and not buy something they will later regret.
This warning comes as retailers around the country are bracing themselves for record number of people in their last minute shopping spree.
