The Consumer Council of Fiji has withdrawn the joint statement issued today regarding food tests which revealed nutritional claims on food labels to be false and misleading.
In a press statement, Chief Executive Premila Kumar said they also withdraw verbal statements made at today's press conference in which two documents namely the Summary of Food Test Results and Analysis were released.
The statement goes on to say that the Council has withdrawn any verbal comments made by the Council in relation to the press statement and summary of food test results.
