The Commerce Commission Chairman has stated that consultations were held regarding the increase in FEA tariffs, and the comments made by the Fiji Employers Federation President stating there were no consultations is unfortunate.
The Fiji Employers Federation had stated that they had hoped for consultations to be held before the decision was made to raise the tariffs.
However Dr Mahendra Reddy said consultations were held and his office remains open to the Fiji Employers Federation if they have any concerns.
