The Co-Chair of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji, Archbishop Petero Mataca maintains that the consultants being paid for their work on the People's Charter process are still being paid lower than their normal rates.
Archbishop Mataca says the $12,000 after tax monthly pay for the head of the Technical and Support Secretariat of the NCBBF, John Samy is reasonable.
However, he said he could not say anything further as he was not involved in the signing of the contract.
