A 37 year old construction worker is dead after a heavy object fell on him at a construction site in Namoli Lautoka this morning.
Police Spokesperson, Western Division Wame Bautolu confirmed to Fijivillage that the incident occurred around 9am this morning and the worker died instantly at the scene after a heavy object fell on the labourer.
Lautoka Police are questioning workers at the construction site following the incident.
Full details of the incident are expected to be released later as police investigations continue.
