The construction of a National War Memorial and a War Museum is well underway with the first stages of roadwork's design and foundation progressing at the New Parliament Complex at Veiuto.

Colonel Bob Fram a land force officer with the British Army Head quarters in the United Kingdom who was one of the officials who paid a visit to the Memorial Site said Britain has shared a great relationship with Fiji which continues today with more than 2000 Fijians serving in the British Army.
