Members of the Constitutional Officers Commission are expected to meet with the Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum today to discuss his concerns with the person recommended by them to take up the post of Supervisor of Elections.
Commission Chairman Rishi Ram earlier confirmed that the Interim AG has raised some concerns with their nominee to the post, however he stressed that their recommendation has not been rejected as claimed.
Ram said no such decision has been made as yet as they were trying to address the concerns raised before further steps are taken later today.
Interim Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is expected to comment later today.
