The Constitutional Officers Commission is still awaiting a response from the Interim Attorney General before making any announcement on the new Supervisor of Elections.
Interim Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum revealed last weekend that a name will be finalized for the position of Supervisor of elections this week as he is going through the names forwarded to him.
When contacted again he said he has already commented on the matter.
