The Digicel Fiji 7s team wants to remain consistent with their performance in tomorrow morning’s quarterfinal against England in the Nelson Mandela Bay 7s.
Fiji went through the pool games undefeated with convincing win against Portugal 31-7 and Zimbabwe 42-17.
They were tested in the last pool game where they had to come from behind and beat Wales 29-14.
The Watisoni Votu led side will be out to avenge last week’s semifinal loss to England in Dubai when they will meet in the quarterfinal tomorrow morning.
England tasted defeat this morning to Samoa 24-14 but they managed to beat USA 26-7 and Argentina 19-nil.
Fiji’s play-maker, Osea Kolinisau believes that to finish unbeaten in their pool game shows the commitment from the players.
Kolinisau added that they will learn from the mistakes and does not want a repeat of last weekend’s loss to England.
In the first quarterfinal at 11.44pm, Samoa will meet Wales, at 12.06am, South Africa meet France, 12.28am Fiji will face England and at 12.50, Australia up against New Zealand.
In other results, Samoa beat USA 14-12, England proved too strong for Argentina winning 19-0, New Zealand thrashed last week’s finalist France 41-0 and the last game and South Africa beat Australia 26-0.
