Digicel Fiji Sevens Coach Iliesa Tanivula has today pleaded with the public to consider the families of the players and team management when airing their views on Fiji's loss at the Rugby World Cup in Dubai.
Speaking to Fijivillage from Narewa yesterday, where the side was hosted to lunch, Tanuivula said team morale even before they left for Dubai, after all they had heard from the media on player selection and comments made against some players who were selected.
Tanivula added that one thing Fiji fans needed to understand is that rugby is a professional game now and nations are pumping in more to development as they have the resources.
Tanivula is adamant that given more time he is ready to turn the tables as he is not "God" to perform a miracle overnight, as he was called in to lead the team in the eleventh hour.
The Digicel Fiji Sevens team and Management will have three days rest before they prepare for the next leg to Hong Kong and Adelaide later this month.
Meanwhile, Police are investigating the alleged vandalism of the Fiji Rugby Union bus on Saturday night.
The bus was parked in Nadera when items were thrown at the bus and some words were also scribbled on the side of it.
