There is confusion in the Labasa Football camp on who is the current coach.

Ivor Evans has been appointed Labasa coach but senior players say they are unaware of the new appointment as he has not been showing up for training sessions.

Team Secretary, Nilesh Lal said Evans is on holiday in Fiji and therefore cannot be relied upon so therefore Bal Sanju Reddy has been appointed.

Lal added that Evans will be the technical advisor.

Labasa team mid-fielder, Pita Bolaitoga told Fijivillage this morning that they have not been training together as a team which is the cause of three straight losses in the National soccer League.

Labasa is now trying to get their act sorted before they meet with Lautoka, Tavua, Navua and Nadroga in pool play of the Courts IDC kicking off on the 10th of next month at Govind Park.
