Confidence high in Suva Camp
After thumping Nasinu 5-nil in their opening pool game yesterday the Tagi Vonolagi coached side remains on track as they prepare to take on Labasa tonight.
Vonolagi, who has tasted IDC victory in his playing days for Nasinu and Rewa, said his boys will be in the semifinal on Monday.
Suva's opponent tonight will be Labasa who lost to Lautoka 2-1 last night.
Labasa Coach Anand Sami knows the task at hand for his players and remains confident his boys will settle down against Suva.
The Labasa and Suva game will be at 7pm while the opening game of Day 2 in the Super Premier will be at 4.30pm between Navua, who are playing their first game in the IDC, and Rewa.
Both games can be heard live on our sister station Sargam.
Results from last night’s game, Lautoka defeated Labasa 2-1, Nadroga edge Ba 1-nil, Suva thumped Nasinu 5-nil and Nadi proved too strong for Rewa winning 2-1.
