This is the season to be happy and we want to bring cheer not only to the people of Fiji but especially to the less fortunate in society.
That is the sentiment of the four overseas based artists who will be performing at the Christmas Charity Concert organized by the Rescue Mission of Fiji.
One of the artists, Dee Uluirewa who is a Lautoka born artists and sings for Hillsong Australia, said she sees the concert as a chance to bring happiness to many.
Meanwhile, Paulini Curuenavuli who is also an Australian based artist said when she was invited to come back home, she was overjoyed as this was a chance to show the public the essence of Christmas.
The concert will be held at the Vodafone Arena this Saturday and sees many artists like Vanuatu's Vanessa Quai, American Idol finalists in 2006 Suzy Vulaca-Kraintz along with Pasifika Voices, Igelese Ete amongst others taking part.
The proceeds from the Concert will then be handed out to those children staying in squatter settlements for the new school year in 2010.
