Outgoing President of the Fiji Court of Appeal, Judge Justice Gordon Ward leaves for Ireland on holiday later this week and there are concerns that he may be banned from returning to the country.

When contacted by Village News, Justice Ward confirmed that he will decide later what his future plans will be and whether he wants to remain in Fiji as he owns a property in Pacific Harbour.

An associate of the Judge told Village news that following Justice Wards stance on the events of December 5th and the letter he wrote to LAWASIA to highlight his concerns about the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption, Justice Ward is concerned that he will not be allowed to enter Fiji once he leaves.

Ward who chose not to renew his contract as Appeals Court President refused to comment when questioned on the matter.

Immigration Director Viliame Naupoto is expected to comment later today.
