With over 85 students with cerebral palsy and other special needs registered at the Hilton Special School, concern is now being raised on the safety of the students due to the bad state of the school.
Founder of the school Frank Hilton who arrived in early 1971 to spearhead work for children with disabilities said more could be done to cater for the needs of these children.
The only aid given to the school is the See Free Grant by the interim government and this depends on the number of students enrolled.
Meanwhile, last week Air Pacific's Charity branch, Wings of Hope donated a minivan which replaced their 15 year old van used to transport children from as far as Vale Levu.
