Save the Children Fiji has raised serious concern on the increasing rate of violence against children.
Chief Executive Officer, Chandra Shekhar said one has to wonder if all the abuse cases against children are reported.
Shekhar adds that the society needs to take responsibility to ensure the safety of the children and he adds that plans are underway to establish a team of counsellors to assist children overcome their trauma.
Meanwhile, a five day workshop has been organized by Save the Children Fiji in conjunction with its partners to learn and share experiences of its alliance members in the Pacific Region to talk on issues related to children.
