With only a few days to the opening of the MH Homemaker Netball Tour alot of concerns have been raised about National netball reps being barred from taking part in the local competition.
When contacted by Village sports an Association President, who preferred not to be named said that the team officials were over-reacting and have made the wrong decision as the girls need match fitness to raise their standard of play.
She added that a requirement to take part in the Pacific games was for players, irrespective of whatever sport they represented, have to participate in training and local competitions before booking a seat to Samoa.
Netball Fiji Management has decided that the members of the national team will not feature on the MH Tour. Attempts to get a comment from Vilimaina Davu and Alice Tabete proved futile.
