Suva Mayor, Peni Volavola has raised concerns that many BBQ venders are putting stoves on footpaths which are very dangerous.
Volavola said this is a risk to people lives who walk on the footpaths and he said council will do something to stop this from happening anymore.
Volavola said if an accident occurs on the footpath while BBQ is being prepared, the BBQ vender can face severe consequences.
