A resident of Maururu, Ba has raised concern that they are being over charged on bus fares.
Pradeep Singh said the new fare is just unacceptable as it is more than a 50 percent increase and not 13 percent as the LTA had earlier said.
However, Land Transport Authority Regional Manager Western Isikeli Lagilagi says the bus companies providing service in Maururu are charging the correct bus fare which is $1.15.
