Serious concern has been raised by the Public Accounts Committee on the huge amount of tax dollars pumped into government enterprises with no returns received.
Committee member Taufa Vakatale said while analyzing the reports, it is clear that there were alleged corrupt practices reported at companies like Rewa Rice Limited.
However no action has been taken for years.
Vakatale said the latest recommendation by the Public Accounts Committee is that urgent action should be taken to stop the huge wastage of tax dollars.
