Concerns have been raised on services provided at the CWM's Accident and Emergency Unit over the weekend.
Some patients who were at the A&E department yesterday told Fijivillage that there was only one doctor during the daytime looking after hundreds of patients.
A patient who chose to remain anonymous said he travelled all the way from Nausori as doctors referred him to the CWM to be admitted. He said he had some complications and needed tests to be conducted so it was necessary for him to be admitted.
His loved ones brought him to the hospital around 9am however he was only able to see the doctors after 5pm.
Other patients raised concern that the management of CWM should roster more doctors during weekends as the Out Patient Department remains closed during this period.
CWM General Manager Dr. Eloni Tora is expected to comment later this morning.
