The concerned Ratepayers of Lautoka City have started signing a petition rejecting the 30% rates levied by the outgoing Council for this year.

The Ratepayer's Spokesperson, Jagannath Sami said they will be forwarding the petition to the Interim Minister for Local Government calling for the suspension of the new rates.
