Digicel Fiji 7’s teams road to the Cup quarter-finals of the USA 7s tournament will get tougher with Australia, Scotland and Canada standing in the way.
Fiji managed to qualify for the cup quarter-finals at the New Zealand 7s without facing major hiccups but the USA 7s poses greater threat to our boys especially with Australia who rampaged Samoa in their pool match at the New Zealand 7s.
However, FRU development manager, Sale Sorovaki said it was just bad luck for Fiji to bow out of the Cup competition in New Zealand.
Sorovaki said Fiji is privileged to have two best coaches who have the capability to take the team to greater heights.
The USA 7s tournament kicks off this Sunday and Fiji plays its first match against Canada at 7.52am.
Fiji’s second match will be against Scotland at 12.07pm and the last match will be against Australia at 2.41pm.
