This is the message of the President Ratu Epeli Nailaitikau speaking to the 600 students of Queen Victoria School gathered at Albert Park this morning for the school's Cadet Passing out parade.
Nalatikau said the drills the children undertake as part of their cadet training shows discipline and working together that will hold well in future.
Parents and members of the public gathered in numbers to witness the occasion.
