It is a way of creating awareness about an illness that could affect both men and women.
Those were the words of Fiji Cancer Society President Madeline Curtis on the Bra-Art Competition to be held next month who said the competition could be used as a way of talking openly about breast cancer, creating more awareness on it as well as helping people to conduct self breast examinations.
The Fiji Cancer Society said so far according to the Health Ministry there were 87 breast cancer cases last year however the Society said the figure could be much more as many cases are not reported and deaths not attributed to breast cancer.
There are a million cases of breast cancer worldwide every year.
The Bra Art Competition entries will be on display on the 25th of October.
