High Court Judge, Justice Filimoni Jitoko, who is presiding over the compensation case of 3 former CRW soldiers has been adjourned to allow both counsels to prepare closing submissions.

Justice Jitoko has given 14 days from today for the plaintiff's lawyer, Sevuloni Valenitabua to make his closing submissions, and another 14 days thereafter for the Military Counsel, Lt Colonel Kitione Tuinaosara to reply to those submissions.

Justice Jitoko said he will then make a ruling on notice.

The former CRW soldiers includes Corporal Barbados Mills, Private Beniame Sokiveta and Private Metuisela Railumu who filed for compensation against the RFMF claiming that they were bashed up and assaulted by loyal soldiers following the attempted mutiny at QEB on November 2nd 2000.
