From next Thursday, commuters will breathe a sigh of relief as the taxi fare flag fall tariff has been decreased by 50 cents.
Fijivillage spoke to a number of people as to what they thought of the decrease.
The Interim Minister for Transport Timoci Natuva had given the directive to LTA yesterday to reduce the flag fall by 50 cents effective from next Thursday, the 5th of February.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Taxi Union General Secretary Rishi Ram said that he will consult with his lawyer tomorrow to look into the matter.
