Despite the adverse weather conditions TFL Engineers continue to brave the elements to restore communications between the two main Islands.
TFL’s Public Relations Manager Vanessa Kilner said communications to Labasa and Savusavu has been restored after transmission links at Mount Delaikoro sustained damage over night.
TFL’s Jone Marayawa, Vili Uluikadavu and Eneriko Taleimaitoga a 3 member team have been camping at the TFL Delaikoro Radio Station with Jone Qolitabua the sole engineer manning the Uluivuya Radio Station in Nabouwalu, have been instrumental in the repair of damaged transmission equipment.
