Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan believes that communication amongst players on the field is vital if they are to maintain their status of being one of the top four teams to qualify for the Olympic Games next year.

When asked by Fijivillage on what may be the cause of our downfall to Australia in the last two tournaments, Ryan said he knows what areas of the game to work on.

Ryan reveals that communication is an important part of their game plan.

Apart from this, Ryan said there are other things that needed to be worked on.

Meanwhile, playmaker Jerry Tuwai and hard-hitting Semi Kunatani sat out of training today.

Ryan confirms that Tuwai was hit with the flu and is expected to be back in training next week while Kunatani sat out of the contact session as he is still recovering from a concussion suffered during the South Africa 7s last year.

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will break camp again tomorrow before they regroup next week to prepare for the New Zealand 7s which is on the 6th and 7th of next month.
