Common sense is needed and being stubborn is not the option with regards to the impasse between the interim regime and the Fiji Nursing Association.
This is the view of Fiji Medical Association spokesperson, Dr James Fong who adds that talks need to continue.
He adds that doctors are doing extra shifts and adds that it is imperative that doctors and staff get rest after working such long hours.
Fong confirms that as yet there have not been any reports that any of the deaths occurring has been a direct result of the nurses strike.
