The Suva Crime Prevention Committee is now trying to work with the Social Welfare Department to find out the number of beggars under welfare assistance.
Committee Secretary, Anare Masitabua said they are working on removing people living on the streets, and those who are under the welfare assistance would be asked to move away from the streets of Suva.
