The Management Board of the Social Democratic Liberal Party is expected to meet in Suva tomorrow however they are yet to decide who will lead SODELPA to the next general elections.
General secretary of SODELPA Pio Tabaiwalu said the issue of the party leader will be discussed by the management board.
He said a committee will be appointed to choose the new leader.
It was earlier highlighted in the SODELPA meeting that former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase had offered to be part of the committee to look for the new party leader.
Tabaiwalu also confirmed that tomorrow’s meeting will convene without the President Ro Teimumu Kepa, who will attend the funeral of the late Na Momo Na Tui Ba Ratu Sairusi Nagagavoka.
