A committee consisting of the Tui Macuata, some Macuata Provincial Council representatives and their lawyers have accepted the interim government's proposal to set up the People's Charter and forming a National Council for Building a Better Fiji.
Tui Macuata, Ratu Aisea Katonivere said they have heard the presentations of the PM's Office and are satisfied with the proposed charter.
Ratu Aisea said they have also suggested that the ousted parliamentarians be included in the People's Charter to bring about unity in Fiji.
