Police are looking for a Senior Civil Servant who is alleged to have assaulted the Commissioner Northern’s Secretary.
Police confirms the incident happened on Friday when a meeting was taking place between the two.
It is alleged the Senior Officer assaulted the Secretary when she refused to make payments for him and another officer for a stay at the Labasa hotel.
The secretary alleges that the Officer did not provide her with relevant authorised documents for the payment made.
It is also alleged that the Officer slapped the secretary after she refused to make the payment and for consulting her seniors on the matter.
Police say they are trying to locate the senior official after the complaint was lodged.
