The Commerce Commission has today confirmed receiving a submission from the Fiji Electricity Authority for an increase in tariffs.
Commission Chairman Professor Mahendra Reddy said a submission was handed in a few days ago and they are looking into the issue.
However, Reddy said that this submission is not for all sectors of the community.
Meanwhile, Reddy also confirmed that they have not received any submission from FEA for a fuel surcharge increase following the recent hike in fuel prices.
