The Commerce Commission is now holding public hearings to review the substantial market power of each player in the telecommunications sector.
Chairman Dr Mahendra Reddy said the aim is to gauge how much market power each telecom player has in the industry after which they will be able to set the interconnectivity rates in Fiji.
A public hearing was held in Suva yesterday while the hearing is held at the Civic Auditorium in Labasa today.
