The Commerce Commission has just completed their first phase of work determining the market power of various telecommunication companies before a uniform interconnectivity rate is determined.
Commission Chairman, Dr Mahendra Reddy said that they spent close to 4 weeks carrying out their study and will now discuss the matter with stakeholders.
Reddy said that once they agree on market power then a decision will be made on their next step.
Meanwhile, Dr Reddy also revealed that in their monthly meeting tomorrow morning the Commission members will be meeting to discuss the final analysis paper with regards to a submission for an increase in FEA Tariffs.
