Seeing students come to school without lunch is the extent of the reality of poverty faced by many, and we hope to address this issue through our Tadra Kahani performance.
Defending Primary Division Nakelo District's Master Niumaia Rawalai said with their theme "Angels on Assignment" they will be highlighting how the problem of poverty has crept into the school system and students are suffering as a result.
Rawalai said this problem is common in their school.
Nakelo District, International Primary, Nabitu District, along with newcomers Pacific Harbour Multi cultural school, Rishikul Primary, St John Bosco Primary, Dilkusha Girls Primary and Bainivalu Primary will take part in the Primary division this year.
Tadra Kahani will be held from the 19th to the 21st of next month at the Vodafone Arena.
